Kid Recipes

Uncategorized

Life was so simple as a kid. Though Im still a kid at heart, there is just no going back to the times when I didnt have a care in the world other than which neighbors yard I was playing in.

Though its nearly impossible to recall the portion of our lives that were easiest, its fun to see it in children around us.

Reading a publication from my hometown around the holidays, I had to chuckle at some of the kindergarteners recipes.  To mention a few&

Pumpkin Pie

Bake at 10 degrees for 2 hours in a pan.  Ingredients would be 5 eggs, 1 cup sugar, 2 cups flour, 8 cans of pumpkin mix.  Then when it is done cut it into 5 slices and enjoy.

Take a pumpkin out of the garden, a big one.  Take the top off and dig out all the seeds.  Put the pumpkin in the pie pan with some flour.  Cook it in the oven for 2 minutes.  Put some ice cream in the pumpkin and let it cool down.  When it is cool, you can eat it.

Corn

Go to the store and get corn.  Open the can with the can opener.  Put it in a bowl and cook it in the microwave with some butter for five hours.  Take it out then wait and eat it.

Pork Chops

Dad will buy 4 pork chops at the grocery store.  Then he puts brown sugar and salt on them and bakes them for 4 months at 10 degrees.  We eat them with corn.

Cranberries

Id get the cranberries at the store for fifty bucks. Id put them on pizza and then wed cook them and eat them.

While I highly recommend not trying any of these recipes, I do suggest taking a short while to daydream about the simplicity of being a kid.
